Electrocibles or helice shooting |
An helice shooting ring (electrocibles)
is composed by 5 trap machines that launch the targets (electrocibles). The clays are equipped by an helice that gives casuality to the clay trayectory (erratic and unpredictable flight). The machines are 26 meters far away from the platform where shooters alternate one after the other. The targets consist of two winged plastic propellers in which a white "witness" cap is clipped.
The witness must be shot in a ring at 21 meters from the trap machines. The helices shooting has its origins in Belgium. During the sixties the clay pigeon shooting started to develope through the helices. The game of helices shooting see the shooters shooting to 15 helices (electrocibles) on a sequence of two targets for platform. Shooters that realize two zeros, i.e. two failed shots, are eliminated from the game.
